Under the patronage of His Eminence, the scholar and mujahid Sheikh Jalal al-Din al-Saghir, the Mahdi Station held a global scientific conference linking the revolution of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) with the nation's state of waiting for their promised Mahdi. A number of representatives from Islamic delegations, who came to Karbala in response to Imam Hussain's call, "Is there any supporter to help us?", spoke at the forum, including those from Iran, Pakistan, and Niger. The patron of the forum, Sheikh al-Saghir, opened the conference with a speech in which he pointed out the goals of the conference, now in its second edition: to root the principles of the Husseini revolution in the souls of the Arbaeen pilgrims so that they are fully prepared to receive his descendant, the awaited Mahdi, who will fill the earth with equity and justice after it has been filled with oppression and tyranny.

The founder of Ahlulbayt University, Dr. Mohsen al-Qazwini, also gave a speech on this occasion in which he praised the conference and its organizers. He then touched upon the characteristics of the companions of Imam al-Hujjah according to the narration of the Noble Messenger: "They have hearts like chunks of iron; they are monks by night and lions by day." To reach these goals, a process of refining the soul and training in courage and keeping promises is necessary—qualities that the pilgrim acquires through the millions-strong Arbaeen pilgrimage, which embodies the virtues of goodness and the merits of the Imams, upon them be the best of prayers.
