Vision

To lead a pioneering and distinguished university in education, research, innovation, and community service, based on quality, governance, and digital transformation, capable of achieving sustainable impact and enhancing its presence and competitiveness locally, regionally, and internationally.

Goals

1.    Leading the university's strategic direction, achieving its vision, mission, and objectives, and enhancing its ability to respond to future shifts. 
2.    Achieving academic, research, and institutional excellence, and enhancing quality, accreditation, and local and international competitiveness. 
3.    Promoting innovation, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence, and developing the university toward the fourth-generation university model and beyond. 
4.    Empowering academic and administrative leadership and human resources, and building a university environment that stimulates creativity and excellence. 
5.    Strengthening institutional, international, and community partnerships and relationships, and cementing the university's role and impact in society. 
6.    Consolidating governance, sustainability, and risk management, ensuring the efficient use of resources, and achieving institutional responsibility. 

Main Tasks

•    Leading the university, providing general supervision of the implementation of its vision, mission, and strategic plan, and directing institutional development paths. 
•    Supervising the performance of the University President's Assistant for Scientific Affairs, the University President's Assistant for Administrative Affairs, and college deans, and ensuring the integration of their work to achieve the university's goals. 
•    Chairing the University Council, managing its proceedings, and following up on the implementation of its decisions and directives in accordance with applicable legislation and regulations. 
•    Approving the university's general policies and directions, monitoring their implementation, and evaluating their results in coordination with academic and administrative leaders. 
•    Promoting quality, excellence, accreditation, digital transformation, innovation, and strategic partnerships to enhance the university's competitiveness and standing. 
•    Representing the university before official, academic, societal, and international entities, and strengthening its strategic relationships and partnerships. 
•    Monitoring general institutional performance, managing risks and sustainability, and making necessary decisions and directives to achieve the university's goals.
